Little League Football was founded by the late Frank Adey in 1968. Morden Little League was the first league to be formed with only 6 initial teams. Now over 50 years on, we continue Frank’s work in providing football for children of all abilities with over 5000 children, the hundreds of volunteers with 16 leagues based in Surrey, London and Birmingham.
Little League Football is the organisation which acts as an ‘umbrella’ for all LLF leagues within the United Kingdom. The National Executive Committee, known as the NEC, is a group of volunteers who are the governing body for Little League Football and support individual leagues affiliated to Little League Football.
The formation of our current 16 individual leagues is as follows; each LLF league is managed by a group of volunteers who form the LLF League Management Committee. This comprises a Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, Referees Secretary, League Representative and a Manager along with an Assistant for each team that participates within the league. Each LLF Management Committee is overseen by the National Executive Committee, which also comprises a Chairperson, Secretary, and Treasurer along with four other elected members.
